Apparently, this is the non-dieting “easy solution” to weight loss/natural thinness:
1. Eat only when you are physically hungry.
2. Stop eating when you are physically satisfied, not full.
3. Eat what your whole being truly craves, including your physical body.
4. Hydrate! Drink plenty of water everyday.
5. Get plenty of solid sleep.
6. Exercise most days. Ideally something fun. Not necessary but it helps.
7. Do these things “all day, every day.”
But you already know this. …This is the easy part. Right?
If you feel that this easier said than done, then we have that in common which is why I’m writing this blog. I have found that I need new practices to deal with my compulsions to overeat. My overeating is not about not knowing how to lose weight via dieting or non-dieting … it’s about not knowing how to deal with my compulsion to eat when I’m not hungry. I am working on changing the way I deal with my compulsion. This process has led me to better execute the “easy solution” but it has been anything but easy. It is personal and it is not for everyone.
